well, she's not really hipster, just very up to the minute with what's trending in food.

And my sister in law made the torta caprese (chocolate/ almond torte) which I've made a bit lately, but she added some orange zest into the ganache- a really nice touch.  And my other sister in law made her yummy couscous salad- which I snaffled an extra serve of for my lunch today.  The zucchini fritters turned out really yummy too- made with grated zucchini, sweet potato, red onion and besan (chickpea) flour so no egg was needed.  We ended up turning back from the playground because it was apparently blowing a gale down at Semaphore, and had the family catch up here under our pergola instead.

and that's truly all.  Oh, except I've nearly finished the cot size chevron rug...
