Now Eloise is dressed in her little red riding hood dress, ready to put on the cape with hood.  Then off she will go to grandma… Beware of big bad wolves Eloise!

Here is Eloise in her baking outfit.  She has an apron too… So she can bake up a storm!

and here she is in her country overalls all ready to go apple picking.  I should have put some little red pompoms in the basket like they did in the book!  Aint she sweet!

You see! a cute mini dress!   Also the good news is, all the clothes do go on- just not over her head, you pull them up from the feet if they’re not button opening.  So that’s a relief!

Here is Eloise off to school in her pinafore.  It’s too cute, the skivvy underneath could also be a mini dress on her. And yes, she does have on the matching smalls.  Do you like her hair?  It’s kinda cute that you can style it…

It’s a pity you can’t share the aroma too- but lunch is lookin good for tomorrow! It is rustic tomato and parmesan pie, with fresh thyme, we’re having it with a stew and some steamed greens, and a greek salad. Should be good!

So for my birthday, mum and dad bought me new, larger, and stunning, pots for my ficus’ which were looking a bit sad 🙁 now we have 2 happy ficus at the front door! happy birthday to me!

well, at last! I finally completed “my crochet doll” who I have named Eloise.  She is very cute and so are all her little outfits. I fear some of them will not work though- her head is so big there is no way some of the clothes will go on

We recently had a very enjoyable long winter weekend in the Barossa with friends.  One of the projects I did was a vest that I saw on Pinterest, it turned out well, and here you see Zoe modelling it because I’m afraid on me it is not so flattering.

how pretty is this!  especially the blue one…  Sorry it’s been so boring here of late…  my excuse? – cheesecakes, cheesecakes, cheesecakes! but a good feeling to have 12 in the freezer ready for next weekend.  In other news- you should see how many buds are on my camelias now!

Today I finished two more book bags from the same pattern that I bought on the long weekend.  I was just using up fabrics from my stash at home, but I think they turned out quite nicely.

I had some free time on the public holiday since we drove back from Pt Vincent in the morning, and Ben and Basti were sailing back. So I sewed up this little number for Zozo

And the grand finale pic I really will have to tally up how many balls it took, so I know for next time… here we go: total of 16 x 50 g balls in these colours: white- 6 black- 5 green- 2 yellow- 1 orange -1 blue- 1 so now

I am so close to finishing- and this is where I ran out of black (I’ve lost count of the number of balls, but since I’ve blogged it I can always go back and count)
