my beautiful roses are in bloom again- not many per bush yet, but I am suprised at how big the bushes look after such a short time, especially because when we planted them they just looked like dead twigs!  Well when I say “we planted them”, I mean Ben x

I was given a free kit by a friend of a friend, so I decided I might as well make this up this morning.  I think my neice will like to have it anyway. I’m thinking of adding eyelashes maybe- what do you think? just three black ones each

and here we are having the first play of “cupcake shop”- it was a big hit! using the tongs added a good dimension, and ringing the bell when the shop was open was a favourite for the youngest player!

just in the nick of time too!  I still plan to make another 2 to total 6, but not in such a hurry. and here they are all assembled in a row.  We plan to play cupcake shop tomorrow!

It’s about time I finished another cupcake!  This one has a choc dipped strawberry on top, strawberry frosting on white icing with a chocolate cupcake.  But of course, we can mix and match! and there are more on the way…

I liked this pattern the best because each bit is crocheted separately, and therefore if you make multiple cupcakes you can mix and match patty pans, toppings, etc I bought the pattern here and I have decided not to stitch all the bits together but to put strong magnets inside

don’t tell my nephews or neices, but I have been crocheting these and just finished the set quick, quick! I see they’re starting to hatch! oh! welcome little critters!  I bought the pattern here BTW
