banana bread

I haven’t even got a photo but I just made a lovely loaf of banana bread- so tasty!  I used up the overripe bananas, some sour cream, some yoghurt and sweetened it with brown sugar.  Plus the other usual ingredients…

And my friend planted a seed in my mind- she thought I made my jam in the thermomix (which I don’t have one), so I asked at work and it was fine to try making jam in the thermomix while baby was asleep- it worked a treat!  The only thing was 1 kg of fruit only made 3 small jars 🙁

and then the next day I tried making lemon curd (lemon butter) in the thermomix and that also worked a treat.

and I must get a photo of Zoe in her new crochet top- the aqua colour is so pretty on her.

Did I tell you that I started the jumper for Ben?  It’s going nicely, but will take a while.  And the yarn arrived to make the fingerless gloves– fun!  Plus some varigated yarns to make lacey shawls with too.  So I’ve got a nice little stash to take on our trip away…

The nephew and nieces are coming over tonight for a couple of days, so I’ll be a different kind of busy around here.  toodlepip
