daisy blanket number 2!

Tonight I regretfully completed my second daisy granny square rug, I say regretfully because I am sad it is over.  (sigh)  Although it IS lovely to look at, but too hot today to use.  I am already contemplating making a third one 🙂 because I love having a project that I can do whilst I talk to friends or don’t really have to concentrate on counting much.

For future reference, I used this many 50g balls:

2 balls yellow

5 balls white

8 balls green (or you could use light blue here)

6 balls blue

and 5 balls straw/linen.

What I did at first was bought a couple of balls of each colour, and then wrote down how many squares I had done to complete one ball (in each colour).  Then Seb the champ helped me do the maths on how many more balls I needed to complete the 56 squares.
