Did I mention Zoe is home?
so our darling daughter arrived back home after a lovely visit to England, to see a friend who is living there and to enjoy a little touring too. How cool is this gift she brought back for Ben?!
And I received a lovely William Morris set of playing cards in a pretty box, and for my birthday- a Kath Kidston travel mug and tea towels set- doesn't she have good taste!
and I forgot to tell you about the new recipes we've been making in the thermomix- I tell you, Cookidoo is excellent. So many varieties of different recipes to try- and all so quick and easy and deliciously yummy! We've had ratatouille with rosemary salted baked potatoes, carrot and pistachio pilaf- that was fabulous- having it again this week, and I'm still salivating over the chickpea shwarma we had for my birthday last week. Plus I made my usual brownies in half the time in there, and fresh batches of red and green curry pastes. Today we enjoyed the flourless orange/ricotta cake, a recipe that my friend from high school shared recently- which I forgot to take a photo of, but never mind.
And I'm crocheting away on the side as usual- more beanies, and a second ruffle romper is progressing nicely, I'm hoping to visit a baby model for the first one soon!
