because if you go back a bit further, and squint a little, then my first completed curved road square actually looks really good!

what with changing hooks everytime I change from green to black, and counting stitches to make a neat curve and unpicking and trying that again, and refusing to get tangled in the dangling yarns, it was not an easy square to complete!  But I am pleased to say that I persevered and the second curved road square was a lot quicker, and I think it even looks neater too.  But there’s many more to go!  So I’ll have it down pat in no time, I’m sure.
