mostly about the recent long weekend, and playgroup
I forgot to tell you all that we had a lovely holiday at Pt Vincent on the recent long weekend.
Ben and Zoe and one of her friends (a girl from Germany) sailed across the gulf, while another of her friends and myself drove around after work on Friday. So we replaced Zoe’s two brothers with two friends for the weekend- she was chuffed! Sebastian went to a bible camp in Tasmania and Elliot was working on his 4WD in the Barossa, getting it ready for a trip he’s got coming up soon.

The girls enjoyed stand up paddling, mucking around in the water on the rubber dinghy and a foam board, a spot of fishing, some games indoors, a short hike which ended up in the water, (see Rochelle’s “liking hiking” post for the full hike!)
catching up with some other Christadelphians on Sunday, a little macrame and helping with the meals and dishes, and the Monday sail back together (with Ben!). Lots of dolphins!
The other day we took some photos at playgroup- the idea being to add the photos on to Google maps so if anyone searches for a playgroup near Hyde Park, they will get to see photos of it in action. Unfortunately we are having trouble getting the photos up for some reason, so it’s not working as we hoped. (Yet) But I think the photos look great, so I will share them with you guys! We are looking for new playgroup members, so if you know anyone, send them our way…

Group time before lunch is a hit with young and old alike, songs and stories and learning and interaction with the rostered on mum for the week.
