muffins, and muffins

muffins, and muffins

raspberry muffins

did I mention that on Saturday we had one of our family get togethers, at a lovely park/playground down by the beach.   It was to celebrate one of my nieces birthdays (she turned 3) and also Ben’s birthday.  The weather was perfect, sunny but a gentle breeze, the kids had a ball and there was plenty of food for everyone.  I made a tray of raspberry/white chocolate muffins, and some haloumi and zucchini fritters to have with avocado on pita bread.  My brother and nephew cooked pancakes on the BBQs there, there were fruit kebabs and coffee too.  Everyone had a great time- a lovely family catch up.

And the muffins were such a breeze to make that I made a batch of blueberry on Sunday for supper.

yum!  Did I mention the Nativity set already sold?  Yes I posted it off Monday morning to a lovely lady who lives in Kalgoorlie WA.

And look at this huge daisy bush that came from a little punnet…

So I am well on my way through crocheting up the 54 daisy squares to make a single bed daisy throw for my Etsy shop.  And I am nearly finished Zoe’s coral coloured lacy crocheted top– just working on the collar.  Then I will get back to crocheting my road play mat.  Happy Tuesday to you!
