ocean tones shawl

I finished this one the other day (because I’m still waiting for my pink parcel to come from LoveCrochet with the yarn to finish off the jumpers for my nieces and the yarn for my next project), and wouldn’t you know that when I was nearly finished the final round of the border stitches- I ran out of yarn!  So I had to unravel the last row and delete a couple of chains in every repeat to make it work with the yarn that I had.  And who would ever know?  Ok, so you know now, but I bet no-one else will ever guess!

And did I say we bought a dwarf magnolia for out the front?  I think it was called “little gem”

so I am one lucky little chickadee.  Plus my kids treated me to Mother’s day a week early, because I won’t see them on the day, and I got some beautiful flowers!
