octopus progress report

can I just say

AAAAAAaaaaargh!

Why oh why do Octopuses have to have a total of 8 tentacles!  That is 1,432 stitches in each round…

But It does look a bit more promising that I might get it done in time now, considering I have Wednesdays mostly free…
