pretty much done...

guess what?!  After Saturday number 3 of painting Sunday school rooms at the hall we have finally completed both coats of both colours- Woo hoo!  thanks to the happy band of helpers, we made a great team (and had some fun along the way.)  Next we have a hard waste pick up booked for the old excess furniture etc, then the carpet gets replaced, and finally the wall art stickers will go up.  I think Zoe (our resident interior decorator) has plans for new curtains in the main room too.  So we’re pretty much done.  When it is completely done I will show some photos!  Before and after shots.

So apart from that my head is full of ideas for the puppet shows we will be running at family bible camp for the littlies.  I can borrow the same puppet theatre that we used two years ago from a friend, so that is a good start.  I have collected a number of puppets and will get some more from friends too.  I sort of want to tell you all the details I’ve sorted already but I really want it to be a surprise for all the kids and I feel like if I share it’s not a surprise!

Oh! and yesterday some yarn arrived!  The hot pink and lime shawl I was making for a friend was not working out at all – sadness 🙁
(I chose the wrong yarn for the project- too fine -delicate- and too shiny for the pattern) but the new batch I’ve ordered is absolutely luscious, and is working up really quickly as it’s the correct ply for the project- yay!
