A friend asked me to make a crocheted jumper for her young adult son, and this is the yarn he chose- looking forward to it!

I got Zoe to try on the jumper I am crocheting for her because according to the pattern I was up to the ribbed waistband (worked from neck down).  She liked it so much she said if I finish it tonight she will wear it tomorrow.  So I did.  I revised the pattern a bit, and she wants it with short sleeves (for the moment anyway.)  I’ll have to take a pic tomorrow.

Here is a creation I accidentally made when squirting hair mousse onto my hand- firstly a cat

then, on an even more exciting day, an owl.

How good is my owl!  Usually most days I just make a ghost, but some days you never know your luck.

Oh, and we bought a thermomix.  Arrives tomorrow- yay!
