romper progress report 1

I know it’s not a great photo, but I’m going nicely with the ruffle romper that I’m crocheting.  It doesn’t look like the picture yet, because the main feature- the ruffle- isn’t done yet, but I’m loving all the textures in the stitch patterns so far.  It’s not a difficult pattern, and works up quite quickly as the pattern repeats all the time so you easily get the hang of it.

And hasn’t the weather been stunning today and the past couple of days?!  Amazing contrast from Monday which was bitter cold and icy.  And the camelias are flowering again- hooray!

Also our darling daughter left on her big trip today- she was SO excited!  Looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks 🙂
