the crocheted, coral "off the shoulder" top

I say “off the shoulder” in inverted commas, because that was what the pattern was.  It’s just that I am a mum and it’s for my daughter so surprise, surprise, look how it turned out when I made it!

Part of the problem was that I couldn’t understand what the pattern was saying about how to do the collar, but I decided to adapt it anyway so it didn’t matter.  I’m looking forward to seeing it on her when the weather warms up.  And in my notes section I will mention that the collar was 210 scs, that is 27 over each shoulder and 6 in each of the 26 scallops.  Then after every 3 rounds I decreased in every 13th stitch.  And that was that!

Now to finish off the daisy rug…
