The new shed

good news!  Elliot has bought himself a storage shed- and I have the downstairs inside area back at last, neat and tidy.

this is us all dressed up for Elliot's graduation ceremony dinner last night, he was one of 4 nominees for SA power networks apprentice of the year, well done Ells!  And I never wear heels so there you go.  (They did specify "cocktail" for the dress code).

For entree I had baked pumpkin and cauliflower served with rocket, and a lemon aoli, and my mains was panfried gnocci funghi- very nice.  Well that was what they gave to vegetarians anyway, Ben and Elliot had Harissa seared lamb loin, labna, herbed barley, chickpeas- for entree, and Ells got the mains of braised beef cheek, gratin potatoes, grilled root vegetables and black pepper sauce (though he said he couldn't taste any pepper at all) and Ben had Crispy skinned chicken breast, sweet potoato puree, braised kale, charred baby leeks, roasted tomato jus.

and dessert was chocolate souffle cake, balsamic roasted strawberries, sorbet and biscuit crumb.

So all pretty special- presentation particularly was outstanding.  After the awards and speeches etc the live band got very loud and you couldn't talk to anyone at all (just before we left)

But it was a good night, we really enjoyed watching the video that they had taken questioning Elliot on his work life etc, plus of course the videos of the other nominees.  So Well done Elliot!
