the queen's guard
So remember a year ago Zoe dressed up as Mary Poppins? Well this year for girl’s camp she dressed up as one of the queen’s guards. She made the hat out of cardboard, a rubber ball, and some furry fabric; she bought the red jacket at savers and the rest we found around home.
how cool! She took my (8 seater) bus to camp, filled with 7 other girls and all their luggage- and the hat didn’t get squashed! Well done Zoe.
And I’ve been crocheting gloves, gloves and more gloves! That cute fingerless glove pattern is too big, so I tried it again with a slightly smaller hook- still too big, and then I had to make a teeny tiny size for teeny tiny Zoe’s hands, and now I’m making a pair that will actually fit me.
This is a progress pic…
