Zoe's aqua top

yes, the crocheted one, of course.  So this is the one that I adapted the pattern– I wonder if the main body of the top was knitted because when you crochet it (as I did)  you can see a difference in the stitches from where I stopped going back and forth, and started crocheting in the round.  Even though I did an extra-special-sneaky-crochet-in-reverse stitch you can still see the difference.

But never mind, it still looks ok.  Anyway, Zoe likes it.

So yesterday I took the nephew and nieces to Tusmore park to wade in the pool there- they had a ball!  And luckily even though it was hot it was overcast, so not too unbearable.  And today was a nice temperature to go to the zoo and see all the animals, plus the giant dinosaurs and giant insects that are on display at the moment.  We’ve had a lovely couple of days together enjoying each other’s company.
